Teenagers stabbed outside Widnes College

Police have closed a road outside of Widnes College after two teenagers were stabbed.

Emergency Services were rushed to the scene outside of the college, where two 16 year old boys were found with serious injuries.

Both boys were taken to Aintree Hospital with serious but none life threatening injuries.

As of yet, no arrests have been made.

Some students reported a large gang fight on the campus car park.

The following day, the College was ‘operating as normal’.

Stoke school goes in Lockdown

A high school in Stoke-on-Trent was put into Lockdown after a suspicious man was seen in the school grounds.

Pupils had to remain inside as the site was locked up in the interests of safety.

One worried parent told how the man tried to get inside the school.

The latest lock down came after police beefed up patrols in the area to tackle gangs and teens causing general trouble outside.

Man knifed outside of a school

Police and ambulances were today alerted to street in Peterborough after an attack which left a man in hospital.

The road was closed outside of All Saints School in Peterborough, as a car car had its windows smashed.

An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene as well as armed police.

”Terrified teachers and panicked parents all asked each other what was happening and school security joined them”.

Bradford school on lock down

A Bradford school was put into lockdown as the bomb squad cordoned off nearby streets.

Counter terrorism police were on the scene close to Hanson Academy in Bradford.

No vehicles or pedestrians were allowed to enter the site during the incident.

Academy forced into lock down after knife seized

Hathaway Academy in Grays was forced to close after a knife was seized and 2 arrests were made on a Tuesday afternoon.

The police received a number of calls reporting two boys running after another boy.

The two boys were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

School on lockdown after man with meat clever

A Wythenshawe school had to be placed on Lockdown after a man was seen armed with a meat clever outside of the schools canteen.

Police Officers rushed to the seen after following reports that a man with a blade was ‘making threats’.

The man didn’t manage to get into the school, and an arrest was made. Nobody was injured.

All Wales’ Schools have Lockdown procedures

All schools in Wales have emergency Lockdown procedures based on national guidance, the Welsh Government has confirmed.

A recent Lockodown was sparked at Rhondda Cynon Taf after threats were made to staff at the school.

”Schools are responsible for their own security and draw up plans based on guidance from the Home Office, police, Wales Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit and the National Counter Terrorism Security Office, among others”.

Parents have described how their terrified children phoned them when Ysgol Nantygwyn in Tonypandy went into Lockdown after a threat was received from a ”Pupil to come on site and hurt teachers”.

School placed in Lockdown over intruder

A Birmingham school initiated its Lockdown process after an intruder was reported on site.

Pupils were shut inside a classroom as the school was placed in Lockdown over intruder fears – which turned out to be false.

Thankfully everyone was accounted for and nobody was hurt in the incident.

The school has since praised its teachers and students for the way they behaved during the incident.

School put into Lockdown due to ‘knifeman’

A suspected knifeman has been arrested after an incident near a primary school.

Lincewood Primary School Parents and Friends association said: ”There was an incident this morning at approximately 07:55 in Berry Lane, the school reacted immediately and their main priority was to keep our children safe”.

School in Lockdown as boy is chased

A Sheffield school went into Lockdown after a boy was reportedly chased by a group of other boys.

A text was sent to parents of pupils at Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy at 17:24 which said ”Urgent notice. Please do not arrive to contact your child until we have contacted you. The school is currently is currently on lockdown. To reassure you all children are safe and well and staff are supervising and ensuring the welfare of your children”.

A local resident said that a boy that was being chased by a group of other boys had ran into the school to ask for help.

Norovirus leaves school on Lockdown

‘A school in Yorkshire has been forced to close due to a mass outbreak of the highly infectious norovirus’.

The school was forced to close for a few days ‘in an attempt to kill off the virus and stop it spreading’.
